I felt like making this thread so that other people could talk about the good and the bad of guild wars back in the day.

I remember when...
It was only prophecies and everyone had fun playing with other players and what not. And when Sorrow's Furnace became part of the game.

I remember when ecto was worth a lot.

I remember when running from Ascalon to Sanctum Cay used to be about 50-75k a person.

I remember when there were no titles, people were generous, and this game was fun.

I wish there was an option to play just the prophecies campaign. no titles or faction, old school.

I remember when you didn't have to be ranked to get into HoH. I remember playing some of the first rounds of HoH o.o

-I remember when there were refund point.
-We had to fight to althea ash
-15k armor was impresive
-you had to do iron mines 5 time to be fully infuse.
-People actualy did party for UW ( no 55 or trapper group)
-griffon farming was in
-THK was hard

I remember when we had refund points. Now everyone expects you to be able to run every build that is viable in a class on the fly.

I remember Superior Absorb was insanely expensive.

I remember:

- The old campfire login screen.
- Refund points.
- Drake and Ettin farming.
- Sup Vigors being dozens of plat.
- MMs with minon armies so vast it would drop my FPS.
- Mobs that stayed put in AoE.
- Sorrow's Furnace coming out and all the greens being super-expensive.
- PUG-ing being the norm and not the exception.

I remember when:
- MM-ing SF/farming was fun and people complimented you for doing good instead of making everything about drops and not for fellowship, idk maybe i'm crazy
-when in pvp I first went with a trapping build and messed up and everyone was like its ok and everyone on the other team was like good game. Not like now where you can get "Noob,LOL, fail, that skill sucks, etc. mostly stuff like that.
-also when I used orders/MM in TOTPK and i was beast lol
-looking at sup vigors and sub absorption/black dyes and being like wow I need to work up to get those stuff. But now its like sup vigor 14k, absorption 1k woohoo, no challenge, but then again i'm crazy.
